Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to orders placed on the Chimert Foodmart website. Chimert Foodmart products are distributed by Chimert Concepts & Logistics Limited (RC 1873091).

Orders

• Prices are shown in Nigerian naira and, for customers outside Nigeria, in the currency shown at checkout. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay, plus any delivery fee shown before you pay.
• Your order is confirmed only when your payment is confirmed. Until then it is unpaid, and the items in it are held for you for about 30 minutes. If payment is not completed in that time the hold ends and stock may no longer be available.
• We may cancel an order, and refund any payment, if an item is unavailable or a price was shown in error.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Flutterwave. We do not see or store your full card details.

Delivery

See our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Discount codes

A discount code is valid only as described when it is issued. Welcome codes are personal to the email address they were sent to, can be used once, and cannot be combined or exchanged for cash.

Product information and reviews

We take care to describe products accurately. Pack labels state ingredients, storage conditions, batch and best-before dates. Reviews you post are checked before they appear, and we may decline or remove reviews that are abusive, unlawful or unrelated to the product.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Nigerian consumer protection law. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profit or business. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it with you in good faith; if it is not resolved within 30 days, it may be referred to the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force when you order applies to your order.
